Recap: Second Annual Women and Children’s Free Restaurant Dinner on the Farm Featuring Manzo

We are thrilled to share the success of this year’s Women and Children’s Free Restaurant Dinner on the Farm, hosted at the picturesque Owens Farms, home to the renowned Manzo Piedmontese herd. The event, now in its second year, brought together an exceptional lineup of culinary talent and celebrated 36 years of service to women and children in our community.

Guests enjoyed an exclusive five-course gourmet dinner crafted by culinary superstars, including nationally renowned Chef Joseph Bonavita, LA celebrity chef Courtney Wright, and some of Spokane’s finest chefs— James Beard Nominee Chef Chad White (Zona Blanca Ceviche Bar & Trail Feast), Chef Joseph Morris (Luna), and Pastry Chef Ashlee Santiago (Northern Quest Resort & Casino).

Each dish highlighted fresh ingredients from the Pacific Northwest’s land, sea, and fields, with the signature fassone beef from Manzo taking center stage in one of the courses. Paired with local wines and microbrews, the evening was an unforgettable celebration of food, community, and philanthropy.

Set against the tranquil backdrop of Owens Farms, just minutes from downtown Spokane, this year’s dinner marked another record-breaking year for fundraising. A heartfelt thanks to all sponsors and donors for helping make this year’s event such a success.
